DQUOTE=ANSI PROC SQL Option

By specifying DQUOTE=ANSI, PROC SQL supports DBMS names containing special characters. In your SQL statements, you can specify DQUOTE=ANSI to preserve any special characters in table and column names.

proc sql dquote=ansi;
  connect to oracle (user=testuser pass=testpass);
  create view myview as
    select "Amount Budgeted$", "Amount Spent$" 
    from connection to oracle
      (select "Amount Budgeted$", "Amount Spent$"
        from mytable);
quit;
